Scholarships

The Colorado Society for Clinical Social Work is proud to offer awards and scholarships to deserving professionals and students every year. We support these recognitions because of our commitment to regularly rewarding excellence in both established and developing clinical social workers in our community. CSCSW has established an endowed scholarship to be awarded to an MSW student at the University of Denver who is beginning the concentration year of training with a clinical specialty. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually through a selection process which is conducted through the DU Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, with approval from the CSCSW Board of Directors.

The criteria for the CSCSW Scholarship are as follows:

  1. The scholarship will go to a 2nd year student who is specializing in clinical practice.
  2. The candidate should have written recommendations from both faculty and field
    instructors.
  3. The candidate should be planning to work in Colorado after graduation.
  4. The candidate should be active in a service organization.
  5. The candidate should be a student who seeks excellence by going above and beyond basic requirements, i.e., a life-long learner.
