The Education Committee plans and provides enriching classes, seminars and conferences for CSCSW members and the professional community. This is often done in collaboration with other organizations in the community, for example University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, the Denver Psychoanalytic Society, and NASW. Since 2002 this committee has sponsored a Salon Series, informal gatherings where members present interesting educational topics. The Salons have been very successful, a great way to learn, share information and socialize. They are in members’ homes the third Thursday of each month at 7:15 p.m., autumn through spring.
